Regular Giving
With just a small donation each month you can make a real contribution to the ongoing work of the Keats-Shelley House.
As a British museum abroad, the House is ineligible for UK
public funding, although it does enjoy a level of project-specific support from the Italian regional government. As such, we are reliant on the support of our visitors to preserve this beautiful
place of contemplation and remembrance.

Gift Aid for UK Donors
Single gifts or regular gifts over an agreed period, accompanied
by Gift Aid Declaration, enable the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association to recover tax paid by donors. Higher rate tax payers are able to claim relief against the margin between the standard and higher rate of income tax.

US Donors
The Keats Shelley Association of America forms one branch of the British, Italian and American committees which together assume responsibility for the upkeep and development of the Keats-Shelley House in Rome. The Keats-Shelley Association of America also publishes annually The Keats-Shelley Journal, a periodical which contains articles on John Keats, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Mary Shelley, Lord Byron, and their circles, as well as news and book reviews. The association also offers support to scholars working
in the field of Romanticism.
The Board of the Keats-Shelley Association of America is fully
in support of the expansion project of the Keats-Shelley House Centenary Appeal and has, by amending its bylaws, made it possible to send funds for the specific purpose of the construction of new exhibition space, as a U.S. tax-exempt institution.
If you wish to make a tax deductible contribution to this aspect of the campaign, you may write a check for any sum you wish made out to the Keats-Shelley Association of America and send it to Keats-Shelley Association of America, Room 226, The New York Public Library, 476 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10018-2788 stipulating that it is your wish that this sum be used for the “Exhibition Expansion, Keats-Shelley House, Rome.” Contributions received for this specific end will be forwarded to the House in Rome.
